SUMMER CAMPS THAT TEACH VALUES TO BOYS AND GIRLS THAT LAST A LIFETIME

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - BOYS CAMP

Camp Information

Boys Camp is a traditional resident camp situated in the High Sierra for boys from 10 to 17 years old. The campers are placed in groups of 6 - 8 to participate in the camp programs to build friendships, learn cooperation and teamwork, as well as to share and learn from other campers in a fun and safe setting.

Activities include swimming, boating, fishing, archery, riflery, crafts, music, and nature sessions. A campfire program promotes fellowship every evening. There is an overnight backpack hike to learn outdoor living skills and facilitate independence and personal responsibility. Community meetings help to share personal experiences with each other. Each camper is expected to assume some responsibilities for the smooth functioning of the camp community.

Camp Location
Boys Camp is held at Camp Oljato, a Boy Scout campsite, on Huntington Lake in the Sierra. C.A.M.P. provides chartered bus service from San Francisco to Camp Oljato.
